Little Big Town Morrison reviews
Sadly, Mediocre at best
Every band can sometimes have an off day. This was one of them. The opening act, Lindsey Ell was phenomenal! Her energy was such that the entire audience, most who have never heard of her, we’re on their feet cheering. The sound was perfection.
However, once Little Big Town took the stage, the entire energy of the crowd morphed into the title of a Simon and Garfunkel’s song…“The Sounds of Silence”. My husband is a musician and he said the music sounded “thin and high endy with no body.” I just thought that Lindsey’s sound was a perfect balance of vocals and instruments while LBT didn’t bring the proper energy to keep the night going. I felt bad for the, because I knew they could feel it too. My husband and I were pretty disappointed because we both love Little Big Town and we’re excited to be attending their concert for a very rare date night out.
As for the venue, the Seneca Allegheny Casino outdoor concert area is set up really well.
